Instax Mini 90 Review

Hello, I thought would do a review on the Instax Mini 90 by Fujifilm. I've been eyeing this product for a while because Fujifilm has managed to revamp polaroids into a cuter and cheaper version of the original polaroid brand.

I bought it from amazon for £119.11 (including two packs of film). The delivery was super speedy because I received it within two days of ordering.

Two packs of film.

In the box there is a leather strap and attachments, charger, battery, two packs of film, camera and three manuals.

Buttons from left from right:

  • Macro - good for taking close up shots.
  • Lightness - you can use this when the background is too dark and you want to brighten it up.
  • Self Timer - you can put the camera on a surface and take timed pictures.
  • Flash - this enables you to turn the flash on and off.
  • Mode - Party mode, kids, landscape, double exposure and bulb.

Personally I'm impressed with the quality of the polaroids, especially with the double exposure option (furthest right picture on the middle line). I'm definitely going to experiment with that option more.
The reason why I didn't buy the Instax Mini 8 is because I wanted to use more of the functions in the new machine rather than just taking the same flash shots on the mini 8. I also enjoy the overall retro look of the camera because it looks less plastic than the Instax Mini 8.

Everything can be assembled easily and the functions are simple to understand. Therefore, I would recommend this product to those who want to capture memories in a more fun and interactive way.
