I have been noticing some K-pop idols have been sporting a new hair parting such as:

Jessica from SNSD

Bomi from APink

It's a side parting but with a deeper and sleeker cut. In a way it also looks quite glamourous due to the way the hair falls from the parting. Like Bomi and Jessica, they tend to volumise the fringe to emphasize the parting even more.

Moreover, having a deeper side parting can also make the face appear smaller.

So seeing this pretty hairstyle, I thought I would try to recreate it.

First I made the parting start at the middle of my left eyebrow. Then I used a rat-tailed brush to score my hair diagonally to one side.

Once I was happy with my parting I used straighteners to volumise the fringe, so that my hair didn't look like a mop.

I also loosely curled the ends of my hair because it completes the look much better than having straight hair.

And that's all there is to it. Simple right?

If I'm honest, I wasn't quite use to having so much hair on one side of my head. I guess this hairstyle would be nice for a night out but not everyday.

But hey, this hairstyle isn't complicated and only requires a simple tweak of the hair parting and curled ends. So overall, it was fun and simple to achieve which it perfect for a lazy person like me.
