A Week in Pictures

What have I been up to this summer?
Well apart from procrastinating on editing videos, my summer has been very productive. In fact, I have managed to tick off most of my "to do" list.

14th August: Results Day and my sister's birthday.

First we went to Chinatown to yum cha (飲茶).

Took a stroll down Carnaby Street after.

Went to a japanese steakhouse called Benihana for dinner.

And as you can see, the weather was amazing...

The chef fried all the food in front of us. It didn't only taste good but the chef also put on a performance for us while cooking our food. 10 out of 10 for making us mouth-watering food while not making it awkward for us either.

It was also a six course meal so being "full" was an understatement.

The only thing that bugged me was that my whole outfit and hair had a strong fried food smell after. Apart from that I would definitely recommend eating there for any special occasions.

16th August:

I bought the well known NuMe Lustrum set and it made my hair look amazing. I might do a review on them once I've tried all the wands. My hair has also faded to a pastel colour.

A few days later:
My family had a mini obsession on renovating our garden last week. We visited B&Q and bought at least 10 different plants to decorate our garden with.

The blue heather (above) was by far my favourite plant. I literally will love anything that is blue.

Gardening was surprisingly definitely not an easy task to do.  We didn't just plant flowers, we also trimmed tree branches, replenished pebbles on the drive and mowed the lawn.  It took me the whole day to just to make my garden presentable.

Right now, I'm busy with work, gym, interviews and uni enrollment. Summer has passed too fast. I will try to make every last day of summer count before I start university.
