Trip to Prague

You would think when you first arrive in Prague center that you are in the middle of a medieval filming set as you are met with cobbled streets and grand buildings which have not changed for centuries. But hidden within these old buildings are modern restaurants, book shops and cinemas which makes it exciting to discover what is inside.

Thankfully, I had the lovely Daniel (accompanied by Selena) to show me his hometown and main city otherwise I wouldn't have known how to get by.

We took time to visit a contemporary museum, which was good change from going to the Tate Modern and I was also able to see the Dancing House which I remember studying and drawing when I was in secondary school.

The main city is surrounded with cobbled pebbles so I recommend that you wear good walking shoes, do not wear high heels or your feet will suffer.

One key thing that surprised me and Selena was how chilled the city was. Even though we were in the capital city, we did not get bombarded by tourists and the public as you would in London.

Thanks for reading.
