Overall, Mykonos is a beautiful island and I enjoyed escaping reality for 5 days but in my honest opinion it has not topped off Thassos. I think what disappointed me most was the beaches sands weren't as smooth or clean and there was a plethora of tourism which ruined the naturalness of the island. Nevertheless, I do recommend going there especially if you want to see the windmill sunset. It is definitely a place for relaxation but take note that it is also a party island aswell, an abundance of clubs lie in the midst of Mykonos Town however my friends and I would rather do pilates and spa treatments (which we did and it was amazing).
